(Prudent Press Agency)--- Rapper MC SOLAR has slammed reports he is preventing his collaborator and pal GURU’s family from visiting his hospital bedside as he recovers from a heart attack.

The 43 year old, real name Keith Elam, has been under doctors’ care at a New York hospital since suffering a heart attack last week (28Feb10). He underwent surgery on Monday (01Mar10) and issued a statement on Wednesday (03Mar10) to assure fans he was “fine” but “weak” after the operation.

He added that MC Solar - real name Claude M’Barali - was “the only person who has the accurate info on my situation”.

But the rapper came under fire from Elam’s nephew Justin Nicholas-Elam Ruff, who alleged even the star’s mother could not get past M’Barali to see her ailing son.

Entertainment : Tiger Woods is not a sex addit but Bisexual according to mistress Loredana Jolie
on 2010/1/19 13:30:00 (229 reads)
Entertainment

(SkyNewswire.com)-- Is Tiger Woods bisexual? According to mistress Loredana Jolie he is! RadarOnline is reporting that the alleged mistress is planning to pen an all-tell book she’s planning to include claims that she witnessed him having sex with other men. RadarOnline has learned that Jolie "attempted to sell her story for $1 million and graphically described group sex that included incidents of Tiger with other men."

Tiger Woods is the winner of 14 of golf's major championships and is the sport's biggest superstar since Jack Nicklaus. Before he became a grown-up celeb, Woods was a kiddie phenomenon: his father Earl allegedly introduced Tiger to golf at age 9 months, and at age 2 the youngster made a now-famous appearance putting with Bob Hope on The Mike Douglas Show. Woods won three consecutive U.S. Amateur titles (1994-96), and in 1996 turned pro with a $40 million contract from Nike and a fame usually reserved for movie stars.

Woods made good on the hype, winning 46 PGA tournaments in his first ten seasons on the tour. He won the 1997 Masters in his first attempt as a pro and later won the PGA Championship (1999), the British Open (2000) and the U.S. Open (2000) to become one of the few golfers to win all four major tournaments during their careers. In April of 2001 Woods won the Masters again, becoming the first golfer in the modern era to hold all four major tournament titles at once (2000 U.S Open, British Open and PGA Championship, and 2001 Masters). In 1999-2000 Woods won six consecutive tournaments, making him the first man to do so since Ben Hogan in 1948. Cementing his reputation as Nicklaus's heir, Woods won the British Open in 2005, the year of Nicklaus's final appearance at the competition. Although 2005 and 2006 were tough on Woods -- his father died 3 May 2006 -- he won the British Open again in 2006, and the PGA Championship in both 2006 and 2007.

Entertainment : Susan Boyle's Album Breaks Sales Record
on 2010/1/5 0:40:00 (524 reads)
Entertainment

(SkyNewswire.com)--- For someone who got her big break through reality TV, Susan Boyle's career has been the stuff of fantasy. A middle-aged woman from Scotland securing worldwide fame via YouTube was unlikely enough, but now that Boyle's debut album, "I Dreamed a Dream," has broken sales records on both sides of the Atlantic, it would be prudent to start taking her more seriously. That shouldn't be too difficult, since the set is a classy affair. Nothing here can match the sheer, jaw-dropping impact of her first "Britain's Got Talent" audition. But sticking to a safe formula of covering standards with only a piano and the odd sweeping string arrangement accompanying that still-shocking voice, the album certainly won't disappoint her fans. A restrained reworking of the Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses" and a dramatic rendition of Madonna's "You'll See" work best, although the soporifically slow attempt at the Monkees' "Daydream Believer" is perhaps a step too far, even for her.

Entertainment : Country superstar Carrie Underwood and her boyfriend, hockey player Mike Fisher, announce their engagement
on 2009/12/23 10:26:15 (679 reads)
Entertainment

(SkyNewswire.com)--- A rep for Carrie Underwood confirmed the news to MTV News after the Ottawa Senators player revealed to the Ottawa Sun that he'd just proposed on Sunday.

"I'm happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn't be happier," the former American Idol's rep told MTV News. "No wedding date has been set at this time."

Singer Carrie Underwood won the TV talent show American Idol in 2005. A senior in college when she entered the contest, Underwood performed mostly country songs, a departure from previous years' winners Kelly Clarkson (2002) and Ruben Studdard (2003) and Fantasia Barrino (2004). Underwood grew up singing at events and at church, in and around her hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma. She was one of 100,000 potential contestants when the 2005 season began, and she ended up in a tight race against Bo Bice, a southern rocker from Alabama. Judge Simon Cowell predicted Underwood's ultimate victory two months in advance, but in the final weeks Bice emerged as a favorite.

In the final show of the season, on 25 May 2005, Underwood narrowly beat out Bice to become the new "American Idol," guaranteeing her a recording contract. Her debut album, Some Hearts, was released in November of 2005 and became a country-pop hit that won two Grammys. It included the hits "Jesus Take the Wheel," "Inside Your Heaven" and "Before He Cheats." Her 2007 album Carnival Ride debuted at the top of the country and Billboard charts and included the hit "So Small."
